Barber AIDAN

So, most of you know of this sweet lil boy who has leukemia. So, with this comes chemo and then hair loss. Well, his parents, as GREAT as they are, decided they would do something so lil man wouldn't notice his hair falling out. What did they do?? They cut his hair and guess what?? Aidan cut daddy's hair too!!! Isn't that too stinkin sweet!!! Such GREAT parents to do this for their baby!!!

If you would like to send him "love" mail, the address is below. He has LOVED those he has gotten thus far. Thank you ALL for your cards and thought and prayers for him and his family. They are much appreciated and still needed. Your kindness has definitely warmed my heart. I am THRILLED to be a part of such a GREAT community of people who use their talent for others. Thank you ALL soo much!!!

All For Aidan : Update

First of all, I want to thank EACH and EVERY one of you have made and sent Aidan a card and praying for him and his family.  He will be over joyed with the LOVE mail. Those who were kind enough to re-post on their blogs and Fb.. THANK YOU as well. Alot of you have been asking for an update and more info so you can send something tailored to his "likes".. well, here is a little more information. :) Thank you ALL for asking.

Aidan got his first ambulance ride yesterday .. Yes, he is back at Kosairs with pneumonia. He had been coughing alot and his temperature was steadily rising. His mom said he fell asleep in the ambulance, but didn't cry. He was a lil excited when he saw it. :)  Today, he is doing well, although cranky. :(  His mom is excited for all the happy mail and hopes it will help his somber mood. I am confident that all the mail he will be getting will put LOTS of smiles.

Now, a little more about Aidan. Aidan likes almost every color like red, blue, green, yellow, orange. His favorite cartoon is Max and Ruby and Team Umizoomi, he is also pretty fond of Elmo. He also LOVES tractors and big trucks.

Thank you ALL again for all your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming!!!  Feel free to copy this post and re-post. I am also putting the mailing address again..

All for Aidan

Aidan is a sweet lil 2 year old who was recently diagnosed with T Cell Leukemia. On Wednesday, he had a port installed in his chest, spinal tap, bone marrow, and chemo in his spine. He did GREAT! This lil guy is such a trooper.  His parents have accepted that their BABY has Leukemia.. NOT the easiest thing to accept, but their faith in God and their support system have kept them going. T-Cell Leukemia has a high cure rate although chemo will be continued for quite a while. Lil Aidan LOVES mail, like any 2 year old does. So....

I need your help. Let's get our crafting supplies out and send this lil guy some LOVE!!!  Pass this on to all your crafty friends. I think we can all take a couple minutes and make something special for him that will bring LOTS of smiles and he can look at over and over.

Please mail your cards to:     AIDAN

"Mojo "challenge..

So, I've been in a LAYOUT slump since before Halloween. It seems like every time I turn around I NEED to make cards. So, I pull out sketches and papers and photos for a LO and NO MOJO!!! Either I don't like the paper or I don't like the sketch or.. it goes on and on. So... I was telling a friend about my mojo problem and she emailed me a sketch and a challenge. I emailed her directly back.. "uuumm... hello... I have no mojo and how am I gonna do this with no mojo".. Well.. SHE had faith in me and pushed me further with a TIME LIMIT!! Well, still not so sure about the sketch, I dug thru papers and printed photos. Long story short... I got the sketch done in 24 hours!! Yep.. almost 2 whole days before my deadline. One of my "had to do's" was make at least one of my own flowers. I made 4 of them!!! Woot Woot!! So, thanks LORI for being such a GREAT friend and pushing me. :)  So.. here are a few pics. There are alot more on my Face Book.

Yes, this is my daughter. I took these photos October 2010. She is blooming into such a beautiful young lady. She LOVES this LO. I may surprise her with it framed and she can have on her wall. What teenage doesn't look at themselves right? LOL  .  I made 4 of the flowers.. on the bottom.. the one with the blue brad, the one on the right ( big one), the one above the bog one, and the other one with a blue brad. Here are a couple close ups..
Thanks for looking. Hope you like it as much as I'm starting to. All papers are CTMH, inks CTMH and Tim Holtz, Flowers Prima, Brads CTMH, metal Making Memories, Starburst Sprays from Lindystampgang.com, Smooch. I used alot of different product so if you want to know about a certain element in this LO, please just ask. ;)  Thanks for looking.
