LBC March Holidays Blog Hop

Now, onto my project. Going with the theme, SPRING is one of my favorite times of the year and just so happens to be March 20. Spring brings flowers and most of you know my LOVE for flower making. The color rumple ribbon I used is BALLET SLIPPERS. You may remember it in my sneaky peek from Tuesday. ( sorry if it looks different, photos and lighting don't always work) 

I started with a plain 'ole water bottle and chopped the top of. I painted some Gesso on the bottle so the paint would stick. I then mixed some CTMH Create A Shade and some ink. I painted it over the dried Gesso. This gave the bottle a beautiful pink shimmer. I wrapped lace around the bottle and then put the Ballet Slippers ribbon over it around the center and tied a bow. I hand made the flowers. The tag was a print and cut from the Silhouette Store. I added tulle and stamens to the bottom.

LBC Sneaky Peek Week

Hey y'all and welcome back!! 

As you have probably seen.. Lovebug Creations has done it again!! NEW RIBBON!!! These Spring colored RUMPLE RIBBONS are absolutely stunning and so versatile!!! Each CT member is showing YOU a different color this week. My wonderful CT member and  friend ZENI  also has a project for you today so be sure to visit her blog!! I'm positive she has an awesome somethin somethin to share with you.  ;)    Be sure to comment on each CT member's blog to be entered to win 2 of your favorite RUMPLE RIBBONS!! For my project, I used BALLET SLIPPERS!!! I love the softness of this color.

I used the Ballet Slippers solid to make the flower and the "On The Edge" for the center then added a lil bling.( I used a low temp flat iron to iron the ribbon flat to make the flower)  Lace and feathers and tulle were added to add to the POP of the Rumple Ribbon Flower. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom "Simple Sayings Valentine Edition". I LOVE LOVE this set. You DON'T only have to use it for Valentine's Day as you can see.

I am FORTUNATE to have you as a teacher.

                                                                      Hey y'all and thanks for coming back to see this post. I am LOVING these little treats and they were soooo easy to make. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making them!! 

 This project came TOTALLY from Country Woman !! They have the printable for the sentiment and the fortunes to put in the cookies. I did tweek the fortunes a bit so they are not done per the instructions. I used only the felt. I made my own boxes from the Silhouette store and made my holes and used wire for the handle. I used Ribbon from Lovebug Creations to wrap around the wire. I also purchased the V-Day kisses circles from the Silhouette store to put on the bottom of the Hershey's Kisses. I LOVE this because I can print and cut and I don't have to punch each little circle out!! Major time saver!!! 

There ya go.. Totally easy and a wonderful site to visit. There are tons of awesome ideas with detailed instructions.

Valentine's for the kiddos :)

Hey y'all!! So happy to have you. :)  Today I have some CUTE lil bags I made for my son's pre-school class. I LOVE the way these turned out!!! I'll be showing you the teacher gifts I made tomorrow. :)  I am showing a close up of the 3 basic designs I went with. Thought it would be better than a photo of all 16 bags. :) 

So.. on with the show.. 

 For this cutie I used Paper Piecings By Nikki for the cute lil elephant. I used my Cameo to make it one piece instead of piecing it all. That is ALOT of work for 3-5 yr olds to throw away!!! The heart doily was a file I bought from The Silhouette Store as well as the sentiment. The ribbon is from Lovebug Creations. I LOVE LOVE their RUMPLE RIBBON!!!  This little guy is sitting on an Action Wobble as well. 

   This sweet thang just SCREAMED .. PRINT ME!! Who says a bunny can't help share a special Valentine message? I print and cut this from my Cameo. Other supplies are the same as above. 

What child doesn't just LOVE bears?? I also got him from the Silhouette store. I used the dotted lines feature to add a lil "something" to him. The sentiment is a stamp from My Creative Time. This is an older Valentines stamp. The other supplies are the same as well. 

     

I hope my son's class love their lil goodies!! I'll be back to show you what I made for the teachers tomorrow.  Thank you for stopping in!!
