Happy Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Today I just wanted to share a few photos of my kiddos. We are expecting a HUGE storm tonight including the chance of high winds and tornados!! Ughh.. So.. Trick-or-Treating may not be possible if we are in our safe place!! The GOOD thing is there were other activities prior to today that we were able to take our lil guy to. :)
His school hosts a "Fall Festival" yearly which includes fun... food.. and FEAR!!! The upstairs gets decorated and called " The Haunted Hallway" .. hehe... you can hear the "screams" all the way down stairs!! ( Colton went with Candace last year, but opted out this year) The food was catered by Texas Roadhouse and was delish!! There were lots of games and even a bouncy house!! The bouncy house always seems to be the main attraction!! Colton said to me.. " mom, you know what was my favorite part of the bouncy house?" I replied.. " no, what was your favorite part?" He said " I got to jump with a beautiful princess."  LOL.. Boy am I ever in trouble!! He is definitely going to be a ladies man. hehe.. Here are a few pics of my Bat Man.

This past weekend we had an opportunity to go to the Brown Pusey House for pumpkin carving, face painting, and a snack. Colton was thrilled to hear this is the place mommy and daddy got married!! It is beautiful and full of history. Click here for a lil more info > The Brown Pusey House

Here are a few pics of our day.
I hope you enjoyed our photos. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family!! Happy Halloween and be safe during your treat gathering this evening.

Spooky Hugs,
Tanya

Halloween treats and tag

Hey everyone and welcome back!!

I made some treats for my son's class as well as for his teachers and some "motivation/good job" cards for my son's SLP to give to the kiddos who may need a little motivation or some praise for working so hard. Those of you with children with speech issues know how hard they work to be "normal". Along with those lil goodies I made a tag that I absolutely LOVE!!

I will try my best to put a recipe for the items.

Mama Lovebug's Super Secret Birthday Hop

Happy Birthday MAMA LOVEBUG!!!
Welcome to Mama Lovebug's Surprise Birthday Blog hop!! We are tickled "purple" to have you!! If you just so happened to arrive to my blog and want to start at the beginning, please go HERE !! This is the beginning and also the place to leave Mama Lovebug a birthday wish!!

As part of our celebration, Lovebug Creations is having a SUPER BIRTHDAY SALE!! Get 10% off your order TODAY only using coupon code MAMABUG !!!

Mama loves purple and flowers. While trying to figure out what I was going to make, I decided to make the flower using LBC Rumple Ribbon Sugar Plum and Charles for the leaves. I wanted the card to be elegant, yet shabby chic yet vintage. I bought a heart doily from Ooh Lala Vintage Treasures a couple years ago and have been hoarding it since!! I also used a piece of a vintage napkin I also bought from them. I cut out the purple feather and added it for just a spot of purple on the left. While both are under the main elements of the card, I know they are there and I couldn't be happier giving them to mama!! I made the stick pin with some pearls I bought a couple years ago. I LOVE laces and pearls and no vintage project is complete without them!! I apologize as I don't recall where these laces were purchased from. The base paper is from the DCWV Linens & Lace Stack. The others are all printed from my Silhouette download!! Yep.. All the papers were inked using Tim Holtz Vintage photo and adhered using Helmar 450. The sentiment stamp is from Kinderstampo Vintage Birthday in CTMH Smokey Plum. I must say... this is one of my NEWEST FAVORITE cards and I am excited to give it to a dear friend.

I have a lil surprise for Mama as well. My lil guy loves crafting with me and wanted to make mama a card too. He surely melts my heart!! Here is a collage I made of him making the card. He is super proud of his work.

Now onto Dawn Mercedes wonderful project!!
