Happy Birthday To My lil blue eyed cutie!!

Hey y'all... Yepper.. as the title of this post indicates.. we have another BIRTHDAY!!!
This time my lil guy Colton gets to be a whole year older.. Oh what I would give to be 6 again!!

We started early this morning ( 8:30am) with a cupcake. The rest of the kids do not wake this early unless school days and no way lil man will wait until they wake to eat. So... this was a lil celebration time for my lil guy and me. :)  He got his own lil cupcake for breakfast and I sang him happy birthday in a soft inside voice.. we don't want to wake anyone up. :)  He was tickled pink and I am so glad we had this lil moment together.

He LOVED the messy lill cupcake!! It was super moist and oh sooo chocolaty!!
His request for the cake was a mustache. I found one on Pinterest and decided to take it on!! I think I did a wonderful job along with the help of Candace making the cake and Roger cutting the ying yang.. Isn't it great to have such wonderful people to share in the joy of a finished project? I  <3 family="" my="" nbsp="" p="">

Next was blowing out the candles. It took him 3 tries to get them all out!!
I asked Colton what he wanted for his birthday and his answer was  " I'm sure whatever you get me will be fine mom." He is such a blessing to me!! He is a Gummy Bears lover like me so... of course that had to be a part of his gifts. He was overjoyed!! First.. the card :

Lovebug Creations : Christmas Candy Sheer Ribbon
Jaded Blossom : Mustache Die, Love Mustaches Stamp, Flag Die 2
Helmar 450 and Zap Dots
Recollections bling

Now.. onto the FUN part about a birthday!!

The best part of the day?? He said was spending his birthday with his family and playing Lego Playstation game with Trevor. :) ( Trevor is my nephew.. far left in the pic below) !!!  What could be better than that??

So.. Happy Birthday to my lil cutie pie and thank you all for hanging in there to read this post. We are in the middle of a tornado watch so I need to go hide!! I just wanted to get this posted real quick. :) Have a good evening my sweet friends and be safe!!

Hugs,
Tanya

Happy Birthday to my prince Charming

Hey y'all.. welcome back to my blog.
Today I am sending Birthday wishes to my wonderful husband, Roger. We married 8 years ago and our love has only gotten stronger. We have stayed a team and had each other's backs. He has been there to wipe my tears and reassure me when I was at my worse. He supports all of my silly ideas and even encourages some of them. :)   Oh my do I love this man!!

I could go on and on about how wonderful he is because truly there are a million wonderful things about him, but... I'm excited to finally show you the card I made him. :)  I bought the stamp set a couple years ago and have used it before on a card for him, but his love of Rat Rods brought me to this stamp again. :)

My lil " turkey" and his turkey..

Hey y'all.. today I am showing off my lil cutie and his weekend project. He is an avid crafter and LOVES everything to do with crafting!! Whether it is glitter or pearls or bling or paint.. he says bring it on... whether it's making flowers or inking a tag... he says bring it on!!  I love that he loves crafting as much as I do and pray he continues to enjoy it. I definitely take advantage of every minute I get as I know he will probably think it is NOT cool in a few short years. :(

So.. he brought home a "nakid" turkey and had to cut it out and decorate it. Having done this before, he already knew what he wanted to do. He first cut it out ( I did around the feathers) and then colored it. He wanted a pink eye with "sparkles" so.. bling came out along with some stickles. We glued some feathers and then the buttons he picked out. ( totally have to buy more brown buttons now) I asked what we would put on the body of the turkey and he suggested FLOWERS!!! Well... mommy decided we would cheat!! He punched out and rolled the flowers and I hot glued them onto the turkey. Nope.. I did NOT make a "real" flower as I would have needed quite a few as he was VERY picky about the spaces you could see between the flowers!!!  We used MAMAS MESH from Lovebug Creations for the beak and the feet!! We LOVE the look of this!!

We had soo much fun doing this together. I truly love crafting with my lil cutie!! Thank you for stopping by and we encourage you to spend a little time with your lil cuties in the craft room. :) Kids say the silliest things and we don't want to miss a moment!!!

Hugs..

Happy Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Today I just wanted to share a few photos of my kiddos. We are expecting a HUGE storm tonight including the chance of high winds and tornados!! Ughh.. So.. Trick-or-Treating may not be possible if we are in our safe place!! The GOOD thing is there were other activities prior to today that we were able to take our lil guy to. :)
His school hosts a "Fall Festival" yearly which includes fun... food.. and FEAR!!! The upstairs gets decorated and called " The Haunted Hallway" .. hehe... you can hear the "screams" all the way down stairs!! ( Colton went with Candace last year, but opted out this year) The food was catered by Texas Roadhouse and was delish!! There were lots of games and even a bouncy house!! The bouncy house always seems to be the main attraction!! Colton said to me.. " mom, you know what was my favorite part of the bouncy house?" I replied.. " no, what was your favorite part?" He said " I got to jump with a beautiful princess."  LOL.. Boy am I ever in trouble!! He is definitely going to be a ladies man. hehe.. Here are a few pics of my Bat Man.

This past weekend we had an opportunity to go to the Brown Pusey House for pumpkin carving, face painting, and a snack. Colton was thrilled to hear this is the place mommy and daddy got married!! It is beautiful and full of history. Click here for a lil more info > The Brown Pusey House

Here are a few pics of our day.
I hope you enjoyed our photos. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family!! Happy Halloween and be safe during your treat gathering this evening.

Spooky Hugs,
Tanya

I made some treats for my son's class as well as for his teachers and some "motivation/good job" cards for my son's SLP to give to the kiddos who may need a little motivation or some praise for working so hard.
