Paper Flirtations....

Hi there everyone!! Today I'm bringing you some news that some may not be aware of as well as a few new roses I have created! I am tickled about these and hope you are too.

Business first...
over the past year I have pondered creating a business. I love making paper flowers and home décor and thought hey... I had some wonderful people reassuring me that I would regret it more if I didn't even try. So.. after talking to my family, we decided to launch the weekend of Thanksgiving 2013! Yes.. I know.. crazy right? So....

Say hello to PAPER FLIRTATIONS!!!

Right now, I am keeping the same blogger name. I do have plans on updating my blog and changing the name as to not be confusing. You can add us to your Face Book, Twitter, and Pinterest. The direct links are below. I am super excited about this new adventure!!

I decided to make ornaments with flowers and dress them up with other items. While it was tough, it went better than I could have dreamed.
Here is one I made that is a favorite. We also sell different prices and even a 3 pack!!!  You can find more >> Paper Flirtations Store

I had created some frames and after lots of sanding and gesso and painting.. flowers were the perfect finishing touch. ( glass is included it was removed due to glare during photographing) I have a blue frame and a pink one but am always willing to make to order.  Find more info and more colors here>> Paper Flirtations

A few years ago I made some wreaths and added flowers to them and thought again.. why not? So, for Valentines Day I created a beautiful wreath. There are two to choose from. Here is a photo of one. You can see it >>> Paper Flirtations Store

See... I have been a little busy. hehe.. I was working between orders and playing around with a few different cuts. I forgot I had cut out some petals last week and decided to play with them on Monday. I made a few different "types" of flower that I am calling a rose. I LOVE seeing the same flower in different colors and inking and techniques. The following flowers are from the same cut. I LOVE how they turned out.

What do YOU think?  Which one is your FAVORITE??? If you have ordered, we would ALWAYS love to see how you use your flowers. Please add us to your social media and we would LOVE to share your photos!
I will be taking a poll soon so be on the look out! If you don't follow us on Face Book yet, we are  >>> HERE!!!   We also have a Twitter >> HERE  and a Pinterest where we pin not only our items, but those that inspire and teach. You can find our Pinterest >>>> HERE!!!!    Our store is >>>>>> HERE!!!!  Feel free to email any requests not pictured. Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Hey everyone and welcome back!! Today I have a VERY heavy photo post for you!! I have pondered and looked and pondered more, but I really want all the photos!! So.. no additional narrowing down!! hehe...
So, as most crafter moms do, I made my son's Valentine's treats... or the packaging/ presentation anyways. My lil guy LOVES mustaches so we went that route. ALL things mustaches!! I found these lovely Plum Adorable FREE Printables Fan{tash}Tic Valentine's Cards.Plum Adorable Fan{tache}Tic Valentine's Cards. These were super easy to print!!

BELOW:

I bought some lil bags with hearts on them and decided I would dress them up and fill them up. I cut a 2X5" paper and then an edge punch and made the lil topper. The "From"( the top of the bag by my son's lil name) and the "I" ( on the tag) are stamps from Kinderstampo. They are "Say It in Type" and "Creative Chaos".  I used Mama's Mesh from Lovebug Creations to add the texture and to break up the red heart from the red of the tag. The tag was made from a die called "Treat Tag Die" By Jaded Blossom.  The lil cupid was a freebie from Anne Kelly from SVG Cutting Files. She posted the freebie in a Face Book group. I used a heart from the Silhouette Store and sized it to fit over the original one with cupid. I love the lil pop of red. Some of bags I added Washi Tape I got from Michaels and maybe even WalMart.

I have to add.... while my son was writing his name.. he said " my hand is going to fall off from doing 28 of these mom"... His name is my favorite part of the whole bag!! Truth be told.. he wrote his name 31 times!! LOL.. I needed one to keep and 2 "just in case". Ssshhh...

I put the mustache with lollipop as well as a fortune cookie, some tattoos, stickers, and a gummy mustache.

I was wandering around Pinterest one night and decided a printable would be perfect to add to these bags. I found this lovely blog with TONS of FREE printables!! I saw the PERFECT one for Colton's teacher and bus driver!! PERFECT. We Heart Parties has a fabulous selection for almost EVERY occasion!! The quality is wonderful!!
Isn't that ribbon a wonderful touch? You can find it at Lovebug Creations!!!  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY Ms. Phyllis and Ms.Kim!!!
I purchased coffee/cocoa/tea mugs that had a mustache on them. The writing was asking the receiver to be his Valentine. I put some punched hearts in the mugs and put them back in their packaging. I just know the teachers will smile when the lil hearts falls out!! :)  I cut up a paper bag and wrapped the mug with it. I used Washi Tape on the ends. I did spend a lil time on the packaging for these mugs. I wanted the presentation to be gorgeous and the teachers to pretty much... NOT want to open the box. LOL.. Crazy? Well.. IF they say that, my mission was accomplished!! Now, onto some photos. Colton has a teacher and her assistant and he loves them both so much. So.. lots of photos to show.
This one is for Ms.Kim. Colton said she LOVES pink so I had to make her a pink flower! LOL
This white one is for Ms.Phyllis. Colton told me she LOVED blue better but hey.. NO blue for Valentine's Day! She got blue for Christmas. hehe
The teacher goodies were all snuggled up in these cute mustache bags!!

Additional supplies not mentioned above:
Trendy Twine
Cupid Circles from Michaels
Pink and White heart paper doilies
Flowers made by ME... Paper Flirtations..
Mustache on tag is from Silhouette

Well.. I hope you like these lil goodies Ms.Kim and Ms.Phyllis. :)  Thank you all for stopping by and I wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day!!

Hugs and kisses...
Tanya & Colton
