Hoppy EASTER

Hello everyone and so glad to have you!!
I thought I'd make a post and show you a couple lil Easter projects I did for my kiddos. This weekend will be super busy so.. here are a few ideas that are rather easy and cheap!!
First up ... Bunny Food using pretzel sticks and Wilton Candy Melts. I used the prongs on a fork to make the lil marks. Hey, they really are on carrots!! LOL .. These were for my children's church youth group and they all loved them!! I whipped up the tags using my Cameo and cut and print and then some twine to add the tag.

My son is in Kindergarten and we always have to make lil surprises for his friends. Today he took lil sour cream containers ( this is how to make them> Splitcoast Stampers . Then, I added some grass to the top that I cut out using my Cameo ( you can use scissors and jagged lines as well).I added the grass BEFORE I closed up the top.  I used the same type of tags as above.. after all, they are both carrots, so it worked well. This is a GREAT project to involve your children in. My son had a BLAST filling these lil guys.
The bunny bags were bought from Walmart. All the pieces were included and all we had to do was peel the sticky and apply!! Yep.. I cheated here. This could be easily done with white lunch sacks and markers and cut out ears. The lil bunny bags are for his soccer buddies at tomorrow's game. He just loved filling the bags with goodies and knowing what it is them!!

Well, I hope this helped with a couple ideas you may be able to use! You still have a lil time!!
During your Easter celebration.. remember what the day REALLY is about and take a few minutes to reflect on what it means to you!!

Hoppy Easter !!

Kimi's SURPRISE Birthday Blog Hop

Welcome to KIMI’S SURPRISE BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP!!...

We are super excited to share her special day with you! If you just so happened to arrive at my blog and would like to start at the beginning, which is also the birthday girl’s blog, please hop on over to Pam's blog.  I’m sure she would LOVE your birthday wishes. If you arrived at my blog from Pam's blog then you are on the right track.

If you get lost along the way, here is the complete line up.

This is the card our sweet CT member Dorcas made for Kimi. She hasn't been feeling so well, but made a sweet card for Kimi. Isn't it lovely?? She wants to let Kimi know she appreciates her and really enjoys being a part of her team!

Onto my project.

I started with a plain wood plaque and put some Gesso then inked yellow and pink. Then, put Modge Podge to seal the inks.  I used a saying from the Silhouette Store and cut it out of vinyl. I applied more Modge Podge to keep the vinyl down.  I LOVE using Crackle and love the depth it gives this piece. I planned on using yellow flowers, but they didn't seem to strike my fancy on this. So... Along with my flowers and some greenery, I used Lovebug Creations "Sunflower" Rumple Ribbon for some pops of yellow! I LOVE this!! I lined the lace with "Green Leaves", although you can't see it.  I added a couple feathers and some stamens and TA-DA!! I certainly hope Kimi likes this. I made my own hangy thingie on the back and used a glob of glue as a "bumper" as to not scratch the walls. Pretty Clever huh? LOL ..

Thank you for stopping by.. now, onto the marvelous  Stacey  to see what her surprise is!!

Happy Birthday my sweet friend. I am so happy you came into my life! You are like a sister to me! SUPER big birthday hugs...

Big hugs...
