Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!! 

Hi everyone!! I just wanted to pop in and wish all my friends and family a WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY!!  We are so blessed to have our children keep us grounded, teach us daily,  push ourselves, and LOVE us unconditionally!!  What better can we ask for? 

 My CUTIE Patootie.. COLTON  3 year old 

My GORGEOUS daughter Candace.. 14 yrs old.. She is on her way to be a CRAFTING QUEEN!!! 

I love my kids and am BLESSED to be their mommy!!!

Well, I have used the Crackle on almost every medium EXCEPT card stock!!  So, I HAD to do it. I planned on making this project part of my DT post, but.. changed my mind. hehe... Well, here it is...

BIN LADEN IS DEAD... Thank our TROOPS event

 If you haven't heard already, Osama Bin Laden is DEAD!!!

He is responsible for the THOUSANDS of mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, Aunt, Uncles, grandparents, friends... who were killed on 9-11. This is a victory to US Troops and those who lost a loved one due to the terrorist Bin Laden. 

I have started a Face Book group and ask for EVERYONE to make a card to THANK OUR TROOPS!!!  I ask that we post them on our blogs and Face Book on Friday, May 6, 2011. This gives everyone a couple days to make one. 

I am soo PROUD to be an AMERICAN!! 

I can remember when I was a child and my dad went to Desert Shield/Storm. We ( 2 little sisters and 1 brother)  only had contact with my dad via snail mail. We watched as my mom cried every night .. not really understanding the seriousness of it all. As an adult, I understand my mother's tears.
