   Ok.. here are my kiddos and the cards my friend KIMI sent them. My lil guy has been doing a good job not having accidents at school and Kimi heard my daughter sing and was quite impressed. So, she sent them a card.

WOW!! LOTS of goodies to share!!

  Hi ya'll. I have a few things to share and my excitement can't be contained!! 

  So, my lil man starts T-Ball this weekend and I had to go to the Sports store to get a smaller glove. (trust me.. it isn't small enough, but will have to work) So.. we get one and next door is a Tuesday Morning. We go in and what did I find?? Paris Hilton paper stack!!!  Ok.. am I just that OUT OF IT or did you not know either??  This stack will be PERFECT for the pictures I took of the Musical "13" my daughter was in. Ok.. here it is... 

     So.. my mailman (step son) brings my mail and I have a couple packages. One of them had 3 cards in it and the package was from my friend  KIMI. I opened the envie that had my name and.. the card brought tears to my eyes. She is soo sweet!!!  She also sent a card for my lil man and for my daughter. I'll post those pics when they see them. :)  I'm too excited and HAVE to show you mine!! Isn't it sooo cute!!!! 

   And... I got MORE yummy goodies today!! Some of you may know Jess, Kinderstampo, came out with her OWN STAMP SETS!! Of course, I had to get them and they came TODAY!!!  Thank you SOOO much Jess!!! I can't wait to play!! If you haven't seen her stamps, click HERE . Thanks again Jess!!

Family Night "LO"

  Hello ya'll.. Glad to see ya again. :)  So, my lil guy is in Pre-School and his teacher handed me a typed up piece of paper and asked me to make it pretty. LOL.. The school does a Fall Festival every year and each class has a theme. They ask everyone to please donate one item to the basket. During the festival, they auction the baskets and the money goes to the PTA who then gives the money to whomever may need it. They have paid for the playgrounds to be cleaned and repainted and field trips for some kiddos who wouldn't have been able to go otherwise and many other items we don't always hear about. So.. they decided to try it at the Spring Fling. My son's class theme is "Family Night" and I am sooo excited to show you my "LO".  I used Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More, every Day Paper Dolls,Mickey & Friends and Sorry.. I went round and round on the font and don't even remember which one I used. :(    So..here is the paper she gave me....

Another Imagine card..

IMAGINE.. IMAGINE that.. hehe..

     So.. have I mentioned that I am starting to LOVE my Imagine??? Well, if I haven't. .I will say it now.. I LOVE my IMAGINE!!!  I love the patterns and the colors and the images and the... list goes on and on. :)  I've been playing with the Better together cartridge and am LOVIN it too ;)  So, here is another card using that cart.

Color Challenge Tuesday

   Hey everyone!! Welcome back to my lil spot in the BIG 'ole world of blogging.  Today is Color Challenge Tuesday over at Paper Crafting Mania and I have switched it up a bit today. So, today, the colors will be: 2 shades of any one color,( I used GREEN) , purple, and white. YES.. 4 colors. Now, you can embellish with others and such just be sure the main colors are there. :)

    I saw a card similar in an old Stampin Up catalog and fell in LOVE!! I have a hard time with Sympathy cards and never seem to have one when I need one. So, what better timing right?

  Hey ya'll.. Glad you stopped by. :)   Ok, so, you know I got the IMAGINE right?? Well, I just LOVE the papers you can print from it. I used "Elise" and "Imagine" more to print the pattern paper before I even had an idea what I was going to do with them!!! I REALLY want to print a 12X12 page of EVERY pattern paper on the carts!!! Kinderstampo inspired tag with origami heart

  Hello everyone!! Welcome back!!  I've been soo excited to be able to post this tag I made for a SWAP I was in. I wanted to wait until my receiver got the tag before I posted it. Well, she has it and I can post!!!
  The tag came about after a Ustream Jess had. She showed us how to make an origami heart with a pocket and I fell in LOVE with it. Not only is it EASY, but functional!! This heart was the beginning of my SWAP tag. To see the video.. go HERE. 
  So, without further ado.. Here is my tag...

     The colored paper is from 7 Gypsies Victoria 6X6 2 sided paper stack. The paper the heart was made with is from a 4X4 piece of scrap paper. The umbrella and hearts are all stamps from CTMH. I used Tim Holtz Photo  to distress the edges. I used my ITOP to made the brad out of coordinating paper from the stack. The "Happy Spring" stamp is from Emma's stamp Set "Color Me Happy" and you can find it HERE . I hope you like my lil tag and find the time to try the origami heart. It REALLY is easy!!!

My first IMAGINE card!!!

   Hey ya'll.. I had a little play time and was messing around and made a fast card for one of Colton's little friends at school.  Today was his birthday party and, well, it was easy!!!  I am enjoying playing with my Imagine and am still shocked I bought it!!!  So, here it is.. my FIRST IMAGINE CARD!!!!  The stamp is from EMMA . I LOVE her stamps!!!

Here is a close up of the "layering". I do like the way you can pick the colors!! LOVIN IT!!!

  Here is my second project. I made this little book on my Your Story Card. The sentiment is from the IMAGINE!!! The receiver really liked it!!!

St. Patty's Day

  Hey ya'll.. sorry I have been a slacker the past week. I got my IMAGINE and I have been PLAYING!!! I am soo loving it so far. A few things I am not too happy about, but overall, I am SOOO glad I took advantage of the deal I got at www.cricut.com.

  So, today is St. Patricks Day and of course, I had a card made. My nephew and nieces have grown fond of "holiday" cards, so, I had to send them one. :)  This card was also a sketch challenge over at PCM.

                   The stamp is from Pink By Design and boy do I LOVE them!! They stamp so clear!
               The buttons and ribbon are from my stash as is all the papers. :)  LOVE using up scraps.
                                      

    Well, the GREAT news of the week is I also won BLOG CANDY from Jan during the "Paper Variety" blog hop. I'm sorry, I can't find her blog. :(  If you read this Jan.. THANK YOU soo much!!! I LOVE all the "GREEN" and the card is ADORABLE!!! :)

     A little update on Aidan.. he is doing well. He goes to Kosairs again tomorrow for another spinal tap and a new type of chemo. They will also find out more about the new treatment for the phase he is in now. Keep them in your prayers. Thank you ALL for the cards. He just loves them!! Bag Book

   Hey ya'll. Thanks for not giving up on me. :)  I have been busy with bag books and cards and lay outs. Whew.. thank goodness this busy week is OVER!!  Some of you know I won a Cricut Cake from Jinger and PC, and I haven't even had time to play. :(  So.. cross your fingers this week may be a bit slower.

   Thia is the bag book I made. My son's class had a student teacher for 2 1/2 months and we both really like her. So, I wanted to make her something special to remember us. :) That is where the bag book was born. :) I used SEVERAL different Cricut carts so if there is something in particular you want to know about, leave in a comment and I will get back with you. :)  I hope you like the book. I made it in a slide show form so this wouldn't be too picture heavy. Please feel free to let me know what you think. :)

GREAT NEWS!!!!

    Ok.. First off.. I apologize for not posting more. This week has been "crafty" hectic. I had a paper bag book to make for Colton's teacher and a LO to have ready for 8 girls today. Sorry.. I hope to have them uploaded tonight on my blog. :)  Don't give up on me yet :)

   So... The GREAT news is about Aidan. He had his chemo, bone marrow and spinal tests on Wednesday and got ALL good news. :)  Well, Wednesday his blood counts were good and today they got the news about his bone marrow... Are you ready??  This is copied STRAIGHT from his mom's post on Facebook.. " We just got some AWESOME news!!! Aidan's bone marrow results came back and it showed that the Leukemia is GONE!!!!! He still has to go through the next phase which is called consolidation, to make sure that any residual Leukemia cells are gone! God is so good.! "

   Isn't that TOTALLY amazing?? I am SOOOO Happy to be posting this. THANK YOU ALL for the thoughts and prayers and the cards that you have sent. Please continue to pray that everything is GONE and nothing else is found.

UPDATE on Aidan

   Hello everyone!!!  I just wanted to pass on the GREAT news about lil Aidan. :)  So, yesterday, March 2,2011, Aidan had chemo and did GREAT!! His ANC levels are up to 700, which is good, and chemo only took 15 minutes!!! He is on a chicken nugget kick and his parents had to stop and get him some on the way home. :)  This news warms my heart!! So, thank you ALL for your thoughts and prayers and the "LOVE" mail for lil man. They all go such a long way!!! Please continue to pray for them. Aidan's spinal tap and bone marrow tests are next week.

Aidan Update

   WOW!!  Ok.. sooo much GOOD news to tell you I'm not sure where to start.  Well.. I went to the PO Box to find a key in my box for the BIG box because it was OVERFLOWING with Aidan "LOVE" mail!!!  I was soo excited I teared up a bit!!! Yea, I'm a softy.. shh.. I am soo thankful for EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU who were able to make and send him a card. There is soo much love in the crafting community!! So.. Aidan will have ALOT of "LOVE" mail to keep him busy for a bit. :)  OH.. I have been asked if it is too late to send Aidan a card.. NOOOO!!! It is never too late!! Please feel free to send it when you can. :)  I will include the addy in this post as well. Ok.. MORE GOOD NEWS:

  So, my lil Colton and I go to get daddy for lunch and stop by to see Aidan's daddy and to drop off all the mail .. and let me tell you.. he was sooo shocked to see all the people who took the time to make and send a card for his little boy. He and mommy are soo appreciative of your kindness.  He said Aidan had his check up on Monday and was a CHAMP!! His blood culture showed normal enough that they didn't have to send them to the lab!!! They just told them to keep him healthy!! His dad said lil Aidan is eating ALOT and has been wanting chicken nuggets and fries for breakfast. :)  His mommy posted the other day saying he was eating frozen peas by the BOWL!! :)  Aidan has a chemo treatment tomorrow ( Wed March 2) so please.. keep him (and his parents) in your prayers!! The power of prayer is stronger than we know.

  Here is the address for Aidan. You can send them anytime you want. :)  I can't wait to hear about how EXCITED he is when he sees all the cards he gets today!!! :)  I will keep you all updated and please feel free to leave a word of encouragement for his parents if you would like. :)
