 Hi ya'll and welcome back!!! Today is our Thankful Thursday DT post and I just LOVE this lil idea. For our challenge, we were to make a lil note to put in our kiddos lunches. My lil guy went back to pre-school on Monday :(  He was soo excited to get to go back. I put this little note in his back pack and and he just loved it!! Another Flower...

  Woo Hoo!! TWO posts in one day ;)   Welcome back AGAIN to some of you and to the others.. be sure to scroll down for the post I made earlier. It's a CUTE girl birthday card. 

Well, I'm LOVIN the McGill punches and made another flower with them yesterday. For now, I'm just making them basic... Not adding all the pretty bling on them until I can get them down pat. They are EASY to make and a GREAT thing to work on while watching TV. ;) 

Ok.. here it is :

 I didn't tuck the stamen in deep enough and prolly should have inked it a light pink or yellow... but hey.. I'm still learning. I hope you give these a try as well. You can scroll down to see how they have changed and this is only my THIRD one!!!  Go get ya punches and try it!!

My FIRST Flowers..

 Hello my dear scrappy friends and family!!  Welcome to my little scrappy place. 

Some of you saw know I've been playing around with McGill Punches.  I was hesitant to buy them at first thinking I wouldn't be able to make such pretty roses.. but.. I bought anyways and having an online coupon .. why not. So.. I played yesterday and well.. I have ALOT more practice to do, but I did better than I thought. So.. if you always wanted to make your own flowers.... GO FOR IT!!! If I can do it.. SO CAN YOU!!! 

This was my first try. Looks kinds THIN.. I Tattered Angels "sprayed" this. The leaves are paint. Ehh.. It's ok.. 

This is the second one!! I used SU paper and inked all the petals. I added a stamen. Looks a little more "real". 

So.. what do you think??  Go get ya some McGill punches and make some flowers!! This is GREAT to do while watching tv !!

Happy 75th Birthday

NEW PAPER HOARDERS Design Team!!!

 WELCOME back everyone!! Today is a FUN day with a GREAT announcement!! 

I started a Face Book group called Paper Hoarders!! ( wanted Paper HOEs but didn't want to offend anyone)

Today the special announcement was made and it is ... 

A FACE BOOK DESIGN TEAM!!  

IF you are interested and HAVE facebook.. PLEASE go look me up and add me or ask a friend to add you!!! This call will be open until AUG 19th!!!  The term is 3 months with 2 projects a month!! We have 2 teams going... How cool right??  Team #1 is a little bit of EVERYTHING EXCEPT lay outs..  Team #2..  LAY OUTS !!!  

The DT will change EVERY 3 months to allow others to have a chance!!
