I decided to make a frame. What new bride wouldn't LOVE her new last name in a frame with pretties on it? I used the "Wedding Wishes" dress for the back ground of my insert with some embossing powder. I LOVE the swirly look it gives behind the name. ( this frame is for a friend, it is NOT my last name..hehe)

I LOVE using Rumple Ribbon and the variety is endless.. As you can see, I used "Pink Clouds" On The Edge around the corner of my flowers. I LOVE this look!! It adds alot of softness!!!

                              HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to you all !! I hope this day was spent with your loved ones. It is a somber day for those who have lost their sweet mother's or for those who have lost a child. It isn't easy living without them, but necessary as GOD has a plan for us all. So, wrap your arms and your heart around those in your life and cherish them every day!! 

I made a card for my sweet mommy, and as the scatter brain I am, I haven't mailed it yet!! I know.. shame on me. I did tell her tho ;)

Last Teacher Appreciation gift ...

           Hi y'all. I hope you have enjoyed the lil teacher gifts I have made and been inspired to get crafty. It's the little things that mean so much and I am proud to say Colton's teacher's loved their lil gifts. Today's post is the last Teacher Appreciation gift as there is no school on Fridays for Preschoolers. So.. This is a lil pic heavy.. hang with me.. 

I decided to make them little clipboards!! If you haven't noticed from the previous posts, I LOVE the DCWV "The Grade School" stack. These papers are awesome. I also LOVE LOVE Lovebug Creations ribbons and the variety of colors made it simple to match. Be sure to go check them out. They just came out with a new product that is sure to WOW you!!!

From the desk of....

                         Hello y'all.. glad to have ya on day two of Teacher Appreciation Week. 

I am a believer in.. teachers are VERY important to our children and thus, to us, as parents. Every teacher plays an important role in our children's lives. We, the parents, should support the work they do and help with that work. Hey.. would YOU want to spend 6+ hours a day with 30+ kids.. 30+ personalities?? LOL.. Yea, so.. having said that I think we should thank these men and women for all they do.. not just during this week, but throughout the year. I am willing to bet that every gesture, no matter how big or small, would put a smile on a teacher's face and joy to their heart. 

So.. onto my lil project. I made these lil guys in no time flat, but.. it's the little things that count right? ABSOLUTELY!!! 

Presentation is everything!! 

Whats inside?? 

I used my Cameo and made these lil cards and the apples. Each teacher has cards with their names on them. This one showing is just missing the names. I wrapped them in some tissue paper, wrapped some burlap and twine.. added the apple tag.. Ta Da!!  Simple right? 

So see.. even something little can truly bring a smile.

Teacher Appreciation...

                                Hey y'all.. just a quick post with a lil project I made for Colton's teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. Let me first say... teachers are the "MOMS" to our kids when we are not there. They love our children and accept them.. each and every one.. every day. They teach them school lessons as well as life lessons. They are the same ones who motivate, push, and inspire our children to be the best they can be. For all of these reasons.. I am very thankful for them all. Tara, Jennifer, and Mary.. YOU ALL will be extremely missed. I guess 3 years in Pre-School is enough. :)  Thank you for being so patient with Colton as he not only learned what the average pre-schooler learns, but he learned to talk, to play with others, and so much more. ( HE is ready for Kindergarten!!) 

   Here is my lil guy Sept 25, 2010, less than 2 months before his first day of Pre-School!! . His first day of Pre-School was Nov. 17, 2010. ON his third birthday. This is Colton's first SLP, Kiki. She was wonderful and Colton loved her.  

This is Colton.. March 18, 2013 doing SIGHT WORDS!!! Not only is he talking better, he is smart as a whip!! I'm sooo proud of my lil guy for all he has accomplished!! 

So.. when all is said and done.. my son not only learns from me, but he does so much from his teachers!! 

I made a lil post it note pad for each of them. I could never pay them for all they have done for my Colton.
