A few people have been wondering where I have been... well, BUSY!! I have been trying to get ahead of the game. :) The past week of storms and tornadoes really put a damper on my crafting time. My machines stayed unplugged!!! I am scared to death lightning may get a machine.. so, I unplug them :)
I do have a little sneak peek of one of the projects I just finished for an upcoming blog hop. I am sooo excited about this one!!! anyways.. hope ya'll have a great weekend.
So.. what do u think??
Well, thanks for stopping by and I hop you come back again.
I hope you all are doing well and are staying safe. We have had more tornado warnings and flooding this week than I ever remember!!! I am sooo scared of lightning and tornadoes it is NOT funny!! So, when a warning is sent, I am HIDING!!! Last night we had another round of tornadoes and more to come today. So, I thought I would share a product and a blog today. :)
A couple months ago I was introduced to Kathy. She makes covers for just about ANYTHING!!! I saw a fabric she had on her Face Book page so I contacted her right away about making covers for my Expression and my Imagine. She was soo nice and was excited to get started. I was shocked only a week later to have the cozies in my hand!!! She does AWESOME work!! I then contacted her for cozies for my Cricut Cake, Cuttlebug, and my daughter's Nook!!! Yep.. Not long later.. we got them!!! Kathy does SUPERB work and does all the quilting on them. She uses the best fabric and can do whatever color you like. She has a TON of photos on her Face Book page to look at and maybe request.
So, If you are in the market for a HIGH QUALITY cover for your machines.. You can't go wrong with Kathy!! Tell her I sent ya ;) Here are a couple pics of my machines. :)

Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to stop by anytime!!! Go visit Kathy.. you WON'T be disappointed!!
Hello ya'll. I hope you all had a Happy Easter. We spent the day inside due to storms ALL DAY!!! The rain isn't supposed to stop until Thursday!! Ughh.. Well, I took a few pics of my lil man coloring eggs and with his Easter basket. Our older kids had no interest in anything. We got all the kids a big chocolate bunny and a bag of candy. They were happy with that.
We used Kool-aid packets to color our eggs this year. ( NOT my idea, sorry I don't remember whose blog I saw it) The eggs turned out BRIGHT and bold!! I will DEFINITELY do this again next year. The good thing.. all you need is the kool-aid and water. :)
I made an explosion box a couple months ago and realized I never posted the pictures. I made this for a SWAP I was in for a dear friend Eileen. The SWAP rule was to make something you have never done before. So, this is my first explosion box.
What do you think?
So, What do YOU think?? Have you made an explosion box??
Well, Easter is right around the corner and I always make lil goodies for my kids' classes. This year I made lil boxes for my youngest, Colton's, class. He always loves mommy's "prizes". So, here they are. I filled them with lots of yummy candy!! Chocolate is the best!!! nothing like sending the messy candy home with the kiddos.. oops.. sorry parents...
Hey ya'll and welcome back!! Glad you came to visit.
I was going through a new lil stack I got on clearance from Michaels and decided to play a bit. I had NO CLUE what I was going to come up with.. I just went with it!! This is what I came up with. Hope you like it. This card looks great either on it's side as I have pictured, or tall ways.. How many times has THAT happened?? hehe
Hello everyone and glad you stopped in. Today is TOTALLY TUNES TUESDAY and I am excited about this song and the card I made. So, are you ready for the song?? How about " Chicken Fried" by the Zac Brown Band. I LOVE this song and it has soo much within it. This is a song that has an upbeat tempo, meaningful lyrics, and very CATCHY!! ;)
So, I listened to this song over and over. The lyrics about the "precious child" and love and "the stars and stripes".. "Those that gave their lives"... ALL of this combined is what is represented in my card. Those words in this song have ALOT of meaning for me. I actually couldn't think of a way to include chicken, beer, or jeans.LOL.. Nope.. not a chance. So.. here is the song with lyrics..
Here is my card:

Thank YOU ALL for hopping in and I will contact you via your blogs. You will have 1 week to respond and I will draw another winner!!!
I am AMAZED at the responses I got about the cake. WOW!! Who would have thought right?? I DID make a FAST tutorial explaining how to do it. Yes, FAST bc you will be shocked at how simple it is!!! If there are ANY questions.. PLEASE PLEASE ask me!! I will be sure to get back with you ASAP!!
I do want to clarify a couple things first... The bottom layer is from 1 piece of paper cut into 3 strips that are 4" by 12". So, yes, the bottom is 3 pieces of paper. The next up layer is 3" by 12". YES.. that makes 4 pieces, but only use 3!!! EACH layer of the cake contains only 3 pieces put together. The TOP layer is 2" by 12" ... YES, that makes MORE than you need for ONE layer, but is PERFECT for a few layers. I hope this makes sense!! Again, if you need anything clarified.. PLEASE let me know!!!
OK.. keep in mind I am NOT a video person so... this is NOT edited. :) You get the REAL thing. hehe.. and... I'm a Kentucky girl and am "TWANGY" .. hehe..
So, is it THAT bad??
Hopefully this helped some of you. PLEASE let me know if you have any questions. I would LOVE to see your creations as well. When you make one, please stop by and let me know and I'd LOVE to go visit your blog.
